7 tips for fasting without giving in to the temptation to eat
Fasting is undoubtedly the best therapeutic practice in the world for restoring body and mind. The problem for many people is that it’s damn difficult to endure hunger! The lack of discipline of the average person makes it almost impossible to achieve the set goal.
With 11 years of fasting experience, I’m pleased to share the secrets that allow me to complete the task without giving in to the temptation to eat and especially without suffering excessively during the process.
1- Set yourself a not too ambitious goal, for example, 24hours. Set a timer on your smartphone to show you how much time is left until the end of the test. Whenever you feel hungry or demotivated, watch the time ticking away; it will help you stay disciplined.
2- Have your last meal in the evening so that you wake up in the morning with already about ten hours of fasting accumulated. You’ll already feel halfway there.
3- Don’t drink water: Drinking water or herbal teas, even if they don’t provide calories to the body, have the drawback of activating the metabolism, which will make you very hungry. On the contrary, if you don’t drink, your stomach will close up, and you won’t feel hungry! Fasting without water is also much healthier, as I wrote in my article which you can read here.
