Smoking the electronic cigarette is like breathing concert smoke.
Does the electronic cigarette cause less harm compared to the traditional cigarette? It’s not like smoking, so it doesn’t affect me, right? Well, actually it’s not quite like that. The liquid of electronic cigarettes is mainly made up of a mixture of propylene glycol and glycerol, also called vegetable glycerin. Sometimes there is also a small percentage of water, but in the vast majority of cases, there isn’t. And what are propylene glycol and glycerol? They are relatively non-toxic organic substances, but as always, it’s the dose that makes the poison. So, if large quantities of these liquids are inhaled, there could be health side effects.
